Welcome to Episode 17 of our Pinkie Day posts about Daddy coming home!
Our exciting news is....
after over a year of searching, we finally found our very first Pinkie Day Pals! Not only have we found them, but we met them right here in our home town. We are so excited to share this blog feature and hope they have fun celebrating Pinkie Day with us!
This is just the beginning of finding other families all over the country who have one parent living and working away from home. Please share the blog if you know of any family with young children who will love to turn a sad thing, like missing a parent, into a happy time for the whole family.

Emmett's video will be along later. My sweet boy is a little wordy and he likes to explain things so it is taking a lot longer to load. So here is Carmen and John's for now. :)
John says he is going to see Thomas the Train for Pinkie Day. :) You will also here him say, "I love Emmett", and "Bring wood" He is telling us Emmett is getting wood, that is the background noise.

Oh, never mind, the groundhog told us Monday there would be 6 more weeks of winter. :(
Daddy will be home soon. Phew. :) Can't wait to hand these kids off to him and take a break. NOT!
